So I worked for about a day I think on this one... Its the BEST cat I've ever drawn, lol. But I don't think it's THAT bad... probaly the first completed cat I've ever done, I never can finish them cuz they looked hideous..
anyways, thats Riyko, or Fireclaw, he has a lot of other names too.
yeah... but what bout the tree???????? ZOMG that took forever to figure out... *sighs* best "Tree" I've ever done... and yet, its only a trunk... damn...
the tree looks good too, except it looks like you forgot to blend in the far left side of it. also, at the base of the tree, you should blend the grass in a little more. it looks a little "choppy". just a suggestion also, maybe use the burn tool on the tree where the cat is leaning on the trunk, to give it a slight shadow. that would look cool.

ooh... I should have thought of that. And oh yeah, I tried to fix the bottom, but I did a lineart of that part too and then I couldn't get rid of it... the layer wouldn't let me... sux but I'll keep that in mind, sometimes when I tried to burn it though, it was too dark, the brown was black, I did a bit to much light on it
yeah i know what u mean. if u scan the lineart and try to color over it, its hard. just decrease the exposure when u use the burn tool to like 30% instead of 50% or whatever it is set at so it wont be so dark.

It's times like these when we show the entire world deviantART is home to the best artists on the planet.
As the new GM for Macro Photography, I want to talk to you about the concept of Macro Photography - what it is and what it involves. Also, there are a few guidelines on what's Macro and what isn't.
With a record level of nominations and suggestions on an almost daily basis, it would be hard to ignore the community call to recognise such a fine example of a deviant as `snowmask. Her constant presence since the formative years of deviantART has never wavered, demonstrating a natural ability to seek out and motivate those in need.
Katie's beautifully delicate artworks are elegant and instantly recognisable due to her finely tuned creative style, a clear reflection of her personality. With a multitude of journals which are thought provoking, funny and resourceful, it's impossible not to be touched by such a bright light in our community. Congratulati... Read More
